The Davenport Public Library at Main (321 Main Street) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. In preparation, the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center has scoured our extensive city archives to put together a 2018 calendar that features unique historic photographs of Davenport. Proceeds will go towards the Special Collections Center and their services in the areas of genealogy and local history.

Due to road closures and expected large crowds, Main (321 Main Street) will be closed the morning of the Bix 7 race, Saturday July 29, but will reopen in the afternoon, 1:00pm to 5:30pm. Our other locations at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount Street) and Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) will be open their regular business hours of 9:00am to 5:30pm.
