DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 8, 2021) — To honor and celebrate Quad Citizens who have stepped up to support the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Figge Art Museum is offering free admission to all essential workers from April 11-17, 2021.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 18, 2020) — The Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport will feature the work of influential industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss beginning Saturday. Henry Dreyfuss: Designs for the Modern Age, will be the major first exhibition in over 20 years to focus entirely on Dreyfuss and his designs from the mid-20th century.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 16, 2019) — Mia Feuer: Totems of the Anthropocene by Artist Mia Feuer will be on view in the fourth-floor gallery beginning Saturday.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 28, 2019) — The Figge Art Museum will sign a new contract with City of Davenport and Quad Cities Cultural Trust on Monday, June 3, at 2:30PM in the Figge’s Quad City Bank and Trust Grand Lobby. 

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 7, 2019) — A multimedia installation by Pittsburgh-based artist Vanessa German will be on view at the Figge Art Museum beginning Saturday.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 3, 2019) — Cindy Carlson, President of the Board of Directors of the Figge Art Museum, announced today that Tim Schiffer, Executive Director and CEO, has given notice of his intent to resign effective later this summer. “We are very grateful for Tim’s contributions to the Figge and the community as a whole,” Carlson said. “We will greatly miss the leadership, knowledge, and love for art that he brought to the Figge.”
