DES MOINES, IOWA (June 3, 2019) — Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced over $16 million in new funding for her signature workforce policy initiative, the Future Ready Iowa Act. With HF758, HF546, and SF608 all signed into law, more new high-school graduates and adult learners will have access to great career opportunities and a better life. This includes the new Last-Dollar Scholarship that will help pay tuition for up to two-year postsecondary degrees leading to high-demand jobs.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 30, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation today for Van Buren County in response to severe weather beginning May 17 and continuing.

The governor's proclamation allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program for qualifying residents, along with the Disaster Case Management Program, for Van Buren County.
