DAVENPORT IA (January 31, 2019) — Maitreyi Shrikhande, member of the Quad City Symphony Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, has been sharing her time and talents with the Quad City Symphony Youth Ensembles (QCSYE) for over four years, but what she didn’t know is how much her volunteerism would impact her as an individual.

Did you know that 13,390 Quad City area children do not have access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food? This March the Quad City Symphony Orchestra will team up with River Bend Food Bank to raise funds, collect food donations, and pull together volunteers to work towards the goal of ending hunger in the Quad Cities.
