On August 27, Figge Art Museum Co-Senior Curator Joshua Johnson will lead a special tour in the Music & Makers Night event Golden Age for Whom?, the exhibition of the title designed to bring together contemporary artists who respond to the themes and aesthetics explored in the Davenport venue's concurrent exhibition The Golden Age: Featuring Northern European Works from the National Gallery of Art.

With the first offering in its series voted "the greatest British film of all time" in a 1999 British Film Institute poll, the German American Heritage Center opens its “The Lost Years of German Cinema: 1948-1963" film screenings with one of the greatest cinematic works of all time, as director Carol Reed's 1949 film noir The Third Man will be shown at Davenport's The Last Picture House on September 2.

For this year's annual Riverfront Pops concert event in Davenport's LeClaire Park, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra and Quad City Bank & Trust invite audiences to rock out with the talents of Jeans 'n' Classics and conductor Hisham Bravo Groover during the August 22 extravaganza The Best of the Who, a night under the starts featuring powerhouse hits including “My Generation,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” “Pinball Wizard,” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”

On August 21, Figge Art Museum visitors are invited to experience an evening of phenomenal country music and craft beer when music legends Lorrie Morgan and Suzy Bogguss, alongside special guest Angela Meyer, light up the night in the 2025 Art of the Brew, an exhilarating outdoor celebration held on the Figge plaza.
