With the exhilarating stage spectacle making a Valentine's Day stop at the Adler Theatre on its national tour, the 50th-anniversary production of the legendary rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar comes to Davenport on February 14, its unforgettable lyrics and music crafted by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony (EGOT) winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

A gripping two-man musical that, according to the New York Times, "lands like a well-placed punch, arresting and a bit breathtaking," Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story opens the 2024 season at Moline's Black Box Theatre, its February 9 through 24 run sure to demonstrate why the Hollywood Reporter raved that it "combines the extravagant emotions and ensemble couplings of verismo opera with musical sounds and styles drawn from Broadway and the bittersweet ballads of Franz Schubert and Kurt Weil."

Presenting many of the Corridor’s most talented performers in a Broadway event like no other, the City Circle Theatre Company will stage a concert version of the lauded revue Sondheim on Sondheim February 9 through 11, its engagement at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts delivering audience-favorite songs from Into the Woods, West Side Story, Company, A Little Night Music, and numerous other works by the legendary composer.

An official selection at the SXSW Film & TV Festival, the Denver Film Festival, the Tallgrass Film Festival, and more than a dozen additional gatherings for fans of cinema, the acclaimed documentary Join or Die will enjoy a February 11 screening at Davenport's Figge Art Museum, with audiences invited to follow the half-century story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of legendary social scientist Robert Putnam.
