Praised by NPR for their music that “all sounds impeccable without losing its sense of lightness and joy,” the string quartet Invoke serves as the latest virtual performance in the Quad City Arts Center's annual PASS (Performing Arts Signature Series) program, with the group's March 25 concert event sure to demonstrate why the Austin Chronicle calls the group “purveyors of chamber music that busts through genres in the quartet's spicy performances.”

Performing locally in a special live event hosted by the area non-profit Project 15:12 Love One Another, contemporary-Christian singer/songwriter Jason Gray will headline a March 25 fundraising concert at Bettendorf Christian Church, with the chart-topping Minnesota-based musician a favorite of reviewers and the recipient of two prestigious ASCAP Performance Awards.

A special in-person event held in conjunction with the current exhibition For America: 200 Years of Painting from the National Academy of Design, the Figge Art Museum's March 19 “After Hours” celebration will treat guests to a socially distanced and semi-private evening at the museum to view the exhibit, wine and individual charcuterie plates from the Figge Cafe, and guides available in the exhibition space to answer questions.

The latest online presentation in the Bettendorf Public Library's popular “Community Connections” series, Life on the Mississippi River with John Lynn will find the Peoria-based lecturer and nature enthusiast hosting a virtual guided tour down “The Mighty Miss” as he shares tales of the body of water's course and character, and of general river life.

Returning with the venue's first mainstage production since area theatres closed again this past November, Rock Island's Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse will treat its guests to familiar characters in a brand-new setting with the March 17 through May 15 run of The Church Basement Ladies in You Smell Barn, the latest offering in this musical-comedy series that originally made its Quad Cities debut in 2007.

On March 18, Michelle Hargrave, the Figge Art Museum's executive director and CEO, and Mark Russell Smith, music director and conductor for the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, will team up for the virtual presentation Art Meets Music, a thoughtful and fascinating exploration of its titular themes and the roles the art forms play in tandem with one another.

All things Dunder Miflin will be celebrated at The Tangled Wood on March 23 when the Bettendorf venue hosts The Office Trivia Night – an evening in which fans of the beloved and widely acclaimed sitcom test their knowledge on Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, and loads of factoids both both easy and hard. The talents of one of America's most revered and acclaimed blues musicians will be on display in no fewer than three virtual concert events hosted by Iowa City's Englert Theatre, with the legendary Taj Mahal featured alongside his Phantom Blues Band and guest artist Jon Cleary on March 13; hosting the Roots Rising Showcase on March 20; and performing with the artist Fantastic Negrito on March 27.
