Johnston, Iowa (October 31, 2017) - Iowa Public Television announced today the premiere of "Stealing Your Life with Frank Abagnale" Monday, November 13 at 8 p.m. Frank Abagnale, whose years as a con man were depicted in the 2002 film "Catch Me If You Can", tells his incredible life story and shares simple but effective tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft.

Families may join the fun at four Iowa locations or by hosting their own pajama party. 

Johnston, Iowa -  Iowa Public Television will host family pajama parties across Iowa on Friday, December 1, 2017 to coincide with the launch of IPTV KIDS .2, a new channel devoted entirely to children's programming. The parties will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include screenings of "PBS KIDS Family Night" programs.

Bill Riley will return as host of this year's coverage, which is full of feature contest results, unique stories, food, animals, music and more.

Johnston, Iowa - Iowa Public Television is proud to be the home for Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Championships. The 2017 IGHSAU Iowa Farm Bureau Girls State Softball Championships at the Harlan Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge will be broadcast LIVE on statewide Iowa Public Television. Johnston, Iowa - The National Education Telecommunications Association (NETA), a professional association of public broadcasters, has announced its executive leadership for fiscal year 2018. NETA members have elected Molly Phillips of Iowa Public Television as their Vice Chair and Chair-Elect. The position becomes effective July 1, 2017.
