An iconic country artist will be saluted by an award-winning vocalist on August 29 when Rock Island's Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse hosts two performances of the concert event Karen as Dolly: Dolly Parton Tribute, with Karen Hester returning to the theatre to present the look, sound, and spirit of one of the most successful, and certainly most beloved, personalities in modern American history.

Touring in support of their latest recording Dovetail, in which the group brings a full spectrum of modern Americana to life with lush arrangements of four-part vocal harmonies, the Midwestern musicians of The Last Revel headline an August 24 concert at Maquoketa's Codfish Hollow Barn, the ensemble lauded by Rift magazine as "a force to be reckoned with" for their "soaring vocal performance and powerfully stirring lyrics.”

With Holler Country praising his 2020 studio recording Good Time as a “delightful debut album” boasting “bouncing trap beats and crispy country funk basslines,” country-pop singer/songwriter Niko Moon headlines an August 17 concert at Davenport's Capitol Theatre, the artist's Alternating Currents engagement treating fans to the talents of the man who has written songs for the likes of Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen.

With this year's weekend event held in conjunction with Rock Island's annual Family Fun Day and the area-wide Alternating Currents Festival, Polyrhythms is proud to host the 10th-annual Bill Bell Jazz & Heritage Festival, an August 16 through 18 celebration of cultural heritage in the Quad Cities named after the late musician, educator, and East Moline native lovingly known as “The Jazz Professor.”
