DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 11, 2023) — As the American public increasingly understands the critical nature of accessible, affordable mental health-care, so do the demands increase on NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, known locally as NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley.

To support its free, nationally-developed education and support programs, power its advocacy efforts and strengthen outreach to the community, NAMI presents its biggest mental-health awareness and fundraising event of the year, NAMIWalks Greater Mississippi Valley, on Saturday, September 16, at the Bend XPO amphitheater at 910 Bend Blvd, East Moline, Illinois. NAMIWalks is the Quad Cities’ largest mental-health advocacy and awareness event. This is the 20th annual NAMIWalks in the Quad Cities. Pre-walk activities begin at 8AM, with the walk to start at 9:30AM.
