BETTENDOR, IOWA (June 19, 2025) — Bettendorf High School proudly sponsors the Hall of Honor — a prestigious recognition program established to celebrate outstanding alumni who have earned distinction through exceptional achievements and contributions to society.

The Hall of Honor seeks to recognize graduates who have:

  • Made a significant impact in public or community service;
  • Attained a high level of professional or career success; and
  • Positively influenced the lives of others.

Nomination Guidelines

Bettendorf High School is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Hall of Honor induction. Nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a graduate of Bettendorf High School, with graduation occurring more than ten years prior to the 2025 induction;
  • Have achieved outstanding success in their chosen career or profession;
  • Have made a meaningful contribution to their community or to society;
  • Demonstrate distinction in professional, public, and/or community service; and
  • Exhibit a positive influence on the lives of others.

Nominations should include a letter detailing why the nominee deserves this honor. Please also include the nominee’s current address and phone number for verification purposes.

Recognition Ceremony

Honorees will be celebrated at a special induction ceremony during Homecoming 2025. Each inductee will receive a personalized plaque presented during the event. In addition, a commemorative plaque featuring a photograph and citation for each inductee will be placed on permanent display at Bettendorf High School.
