BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 8, 2025) — The public is invited to attend a Bettendorf School Board Candidate Forum at 6:30PM, on Wednesday, October 22, moderated and broadcast by KWQC-TV6.
The forum, hosted by the Bettendorf Community School District, will take place at the Bettendorf High School Performing Arts Center, 3333 18th Street.
This year, eight candidates are running for four open seats on the Board of Education:
- Two-Year Term Candidates: Michelle Bruty, and Richard Lynch
- Four-Year Term Candidates: Lori Dryg, Eric Engels, Brian Hanssen, Mindy Smith Pace, Linda Smithson, Jessica Witter
The election will be held on Tuesday, November 4.
To ensure a respectful environment, no political signs or attire will be allowed inside the building.
Attendees who cause disruptions during the forum will be asked to leave.
The forum will air live on COZI 6.3, kwqc.com, and the KWQC News App.
