KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (November 14, 2025) — A select group of Carthage College music students participated in the Wisconsin National Association of Teachers of Singing Vocal Auditions competition at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in November. Each student was assigned to a category based on their age and musical selections (Classical, Commercial, and/or Musical Theatre).

Carthage's music curriculum provides comprehensive vocal training, as well as many opportunities to perform. National Association of Teachers of Singing is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the highest standards of singing through excellence in teaching and promotion of vocal education and research.

The following students participated:

Winter Roland of Moline (61265), a student of Peg Cleveland and accompanied by Melissa Cardamone, had the placement of Semi-Finalist.

Avery Conger of Blue Grass (52726), a student of Molly Fuller and accompanied by Yu-Mei Chang, had the placement of Participant.
