Rock Island, IL – As temperatures are expected to dip into single digits in the Quad Cities, more and more members of our community will be struggling to stay warm. Winter is a harsh time in the Quad City area and Christian Care is committed to helping those who are less fortunate. As an Emergency Warming Center, Christian Care opens its’ doors to those needing assistance when outside temperatures are below ten degrees and/or the wind chill is below zero. Those needing assistance are welcome at Christian Care seven days a week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Christian Care is located at 2209 3rd Avenue, Rock Island, IL.
Christian Care provides safe shelter, food, clothing and personal care items to its’ residents and others from the community who are in need. For 100 years, Christian Care has helped transform the lives of the least, the last and the lost through the generosity and support of our community.
