BETTENDORF, IOWA (November 1, 2019) — Churches United’s Church Casserole Cook-Off is Saturday, November 2. The event will take place from 4–7PM at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church (1201 13th St, Moline, IL). Prizes will be awarded in each category: Best Main Dish, Best Dessert, and People’s Choice.

If you'd like to attend the competition, tickets are $15 each for adults; $5 for youth age 6-12. Children 5 and under are admitted free.

Catered food will be provided by Jeff’s Market — Blue Grass, IA.

Show Us Your Pokeballs (SUYP), a traveling comedy troupe wishing to spread their love of joke-telling and geek-culture to the masses, will be performing live.

We will be having a silent auction. We're collecting donations for the silent-auction baskets. Donors may give entire baskets or individual items. Suggested items include theme baskets, like movie night or favorite team, gift cards to restaurants, stores, hotels, etc, and chocolate, wine, candles, and spa treatments. No lottery tickets or gambling-related items, please.

Tickets are available at Churches United, 2535 Tech Drive, Suite 205, Bettendorf, and by e-mail request at info@cuqca.org. For more information, contact Betsy Vanausdeln at bvanausdeln@cuqca.org or by phone at (563) 332-5002.

All proceeds benefit Churches United's Hunger Ministry.
