GALENA, ILLINOIS (May 10, 2024) — Corkless in Galena, Summer of 2024’s exclusive wine event celebrating Illinois’ family and local owned wineries, will be held Saturday, June 22, 12-6PM, at Depot Park, 91 Bouthillier St, Galena. Spend an afternoon sipping handmade wines of five Illinois wineries. Taste fabulous food from regional food trucks. Listen to world-class live music while visiting with local artists showcasing incredible handmade creations.

Corkless in Galena is held in the heart of the City of Galena in beautiful Depo Park along the Galena River with fabulous views of historic architecture and Driftless Region scenery. Sample Illinois handcrafted wines from Massbach Ridge Winery, Galena — Elizabeth, August Hill Winery, North Utica. Galena Cellars Vineyard and Winery, Galena, Fergedaboudit Vineyard and Winery, Hanover, and West of Wise, Petersburg, Illinois.

Listen to music by Kelly Steward and The Restless Hearts of Rockford, Illinois, starting at noon playing indie-flavored neo-traditional country. Followed by headliner the Jordan Danielsen Band at 3PM playing a mix of acoustic ballads and blues with a touch of hip hop.

Enjoy tasty food and beverages from Birds Serious Chicken of Dubuque, Iowa; Bonfire Pizza Company of Galena, Illinois; Elle and Becks Coffee Company of Dubuque; Gelato Trailer of Galena, Illinois; and Just Cheddar-Deep Fried Cheese Curds of Scales Mound, Illinois.

Touch your inner artist as you stroll viewing creations of area artists, Cindy Legate of Twisted by Design, Kewanee, Illinois; Christina Cruz, Hanover, Illinois; Andrew Raeside, Dubuque, Iowa and Henry Matthiessen III of Stoned Art Studio and Gallery, Dubuque, Iowa. The Scenic Art Loop will also be showcasing their Driftless Region art guides.

Tickets are $20 for adult admission which includes a Corkless Festival glass plus five tasting tickets for wine or food. Tickets for designated drivers and under 21 years of age tickets are $5.

Parking is free. A covered tent with seating will be on hand or bring your chairs, small tents, or coverings (up to ten feet by ten feet) are welcome. Well-behaved pets on leashes are also invited. See you there!
