DES MOINES, IOWA (June 25, 2026) — Des Moines University Clinic welcomes Brianna Riggio MSN RN, as director of clinic operations and strategy. In this role, she will oversee day-to-day clinic operations, support workflow optimization and staff development, and help ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered care across clinic operations.

Prior to joining DMU Clinic, Riggio served as nurse manager for the Colorado State University Health Network, where she directed nursing and clinic operations across four ambulatory care clinics serving more than 300 patients daily. She also served as an administrative fellow with the CSU Health Network and Emergency Department Forensic Nurse Examiner with UCHealth's North Region.

Riggio earned a Master of Science in nursing specializing in administration and leadership from the University of Colorado Anschutz. She holds her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University.
