WASHINGTON DC (May 21, 2019) — Representative Dave Loebsack announced today that residents of Scott and Louisa Counties who have been affected by the recent severe storms and flooding can now apply for disaster assistance to help them recover. Individuals who have received damage to their home or property are encouraged to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or visitinghttps://DisasterAssistance.gov. "The first step towards receiving federal assistance is by registering with FEMA," Rep Loebsack said. "As the city, state and federal government work to fully recover and eventually rebuild, it is important that each person who was affected by the floods registers with FEMA, so they can best direct resources to where they are most needed."
