The public is invited to come and be a part of Friends of Hauberg's mission to restore the historic 1911 Jens Jensen landscape design back to its former glory! They will be planting new trees, shrubs and flowers and removing debri from the forest and flower beds. There will be projects for all ages & skill levels. You can come for just a few hours or stay all day. Free to the public and family-friendly. Leashed pets welcome outside. (In case of rain, event will be held in the Carriage House next door to the mansion.)
Anyone that would like to financially support the landscape restoration is encouraged to consider donating $30.00 towards the cost of a new Rosa Setigera bush. These flowers, which are native to the area, were featured prominently in the original landscape design and will be a beautiful addition to the restoration project.
