The public is invited to come and be a part of Friends of Hauberg's mission to restore the historic 1911 Jens Jensen landscape design back to its former glory! They will be planting new trees, shrubs and flowers and removing debri from the forest and flower beds. There will be projects for all ages & skill levels. You can come for just a few hours or stay all day. Free to the public and family-friendly. Leashed pets welcome outside.

Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation announces a fundraiser “Mardi Gras at the Mansion.” It will take place on Saturday, February 25, from 7-11:00 pm at the historic Hauberg-Denkmann mansion, 1300 24th Street, Rock Island Illinois. There will be authentic New Orleans cuisine of gumbo, red beans and rice, bread pudding and king cake. Coleman Harris will entertain you with jazz on the piano.
