We will be having a Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Membership Drive at the Hauberg Civic Center in Rock Island, IL on March 20th, 2016, 1-4 pm. There will be tours of the mansion and grounds given by RI Parks and Recreation staff. The local Hauberg family will be in attendance and sharing their personal stories of their time in the house and with family.  Samantha Crisp, special collections librarian at Augustana College, will be giving a presentation on the digitization project regarding the Hauberg family. The goal of the membership drive will be to raise awareness of the Hauberg Civic Center for meetings, events, tours and to also raise awareness of the history of Denkmann-Hauberg families and the contributions they made to Rock Island. Memberships are $20.00 per person and we encourage everyone to visit Hauberg Civic Center for its revitalization.
