On Thursday, 11/8, Hauberg Estate will feature a presentation on the history of Rock Island High School by David Sebben, co-author of "Rock Solid: Our History”, the lavishly illustrated, 238-page book on the history of Rock Island High School. There will be a limited number of copies of the book for sale at the presentation for $40 each (cash or check only). This book, which documents the history of Rock Island High School from the 1850s, was also co-authored by Doug Frazer and Rick Miers. As a special bonus, those who buy the book that evening will have their names entered into a drawing. A flash drive containing all the publications of Rock Island High School will be given at the end of the evening. This includes yearbooks from 1904, newspapers, literary magazines, and more.
