KENOSHA, WISCSONSIN (January 29, 2026) — More than 275 Carthage College students participated in one of 14 study tours offered during J-Term. J-Term, or January Term, is a special month-long period of study in which Carthage students explore subjects outside their majors or minors, discover new interests, and test their creativity through classes held around the world.

Participating from the area:

Savannah Reisner from Geneseo (61254) participated in Biology and Geography of Nicaragua.

Anna Mickelson from Milan (61264) participated in Experience Tanzania: Religion, Society, and Culture.

Ezra Welch from Davenport Iowa (52807) participated in Interdisciplinary Exploration of Social Dynamics and Cultural Diversity in Southeast.
