IOWA CITY, IOWA (May 14, 2021) — Twenty-eight students enrolled in the Henry B Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa who received annual awards presented by the Department of Accounting.

The students listed below are from your area and were among the honorees.

The Department of Accounting's undergraduate and Master of Accountancy (M.Ac.) programs are consistently recognized for educational excellence. In the most recent year, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) ranked University of Iowa graduates' CPA exam performance thirteenth of all large accounting programs in the United States and highest of the State of Iowa public universities. The Department of Accounting Writing Program, which integrates communication skills throughout the undergraduate and MAc curriculum, was named "a point of distinction" in the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation report.
