KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (February 12, 2024) — The following Carthage College students traveled during J-Term, a month-long period to explore subject areas. A Carthage tradition since the early 1970s, J-Term, or January Term, study tours allow students to experience new cultures and ideas without committing to a full semester abroad.

Jack Kelley of Port Byron studied Music and Culture: Music Education and the Dojo in Japan.

Chase Portner of Moline studied Music and Culture: Music Education and the Dojo in Japan.

Kaeleen Smith of Moline studied Photographing Nature in Costa Rica.

Katie Wilde of Rock Island studied Plant Adaptations in Florida.
