PELLA, IOWA (May 17, 2023) — Mattie Francis from Port Byron, Illinois, is one of 24 Central College students in the Class of 2023 to graduate with Alpha Alpha Alpha honors.

In all, Central College recognized 222 graduates during Commencement 2023 on Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the PH Kuyper Gymnasium:

Elizabeth Hurlbut of Muscatine, earned a Bachelor’s degree cum laude majoring in Kinesiology.

Micah Poole of Davenport, earned a Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude majoring in Exercise Science.

Lucas Wendel of Le Claire, earned a Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude majoring in Biology.

Rachel Daniels of Geneseo, earned a Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude majoring in Exercise Science.

Mattie Francis of Port Byron, earned a Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude majoring in English.

Bria Holthe of Muscatine, earned a Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude majoring in Environment and Sustainability Stud and English.

Allison Miller of Geneseo, earned a Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude majoring in Business Management.

Austin Andresen of Davenport, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Exercise Science.

Alicia Johnson of Muscatine, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Elementary Education.

Caleb Evans of Davenport, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in English.

Garrett Finley of De Witt, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Communication Studies.

Emma Johnson of Davenport, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Kinesiology.

Landon Thiele of Moline, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Business Management.

Caleb Evans of Davenport, earned a Bachelor’s degree majoring in English.
