Bettendorf, IA,  March 10, 2018 – GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers will hold its annual celebration of acceptance at the 2018 “i have a voice” Gala.

The Gala takes place on March 10, 2018 at Waterfront Convention Center in addition to the entertainment by young adults, mentors and host families, the gala will feature a sit-down dinner, cocktail reception, dancing and live entertainment and chances to win various auction items, complimentary photo booths – and a call-to-action for even greater acceptance and generosity towards children and adults with Down syndrome. Every GiGi’s participant has a voice and your support helps ensure their voice is heard. Your voice also helps spread awareness and acceptance.

This past year, the local GiGi’s Playhouse launched an all new speech and language program. Like all of the programs GiGi’s offers, this program is free for all individuals with Down syndrome and is partially funded by this event. Gala guests will see that individuals with Down syndrome are accepting of all and we hope that you will be accepting and supportive in return. We need your help to continue making an impact here in the Quad Cities.

For tickets, tables, and sponsorship opportunities at the 2018 “i have a voice” Gala please visit www.gigisplayhouse.org/quadcities/gala. Donations to the gala will fund educational programs like literacy tutoring; therapeutic-based programs like speech and language therapy.
