DAVENPORT — Attend 2nd Ward Community Meeting

WHO: Representative Dave Loebsack

             Rick Dunn, 2nd Ward Alderman

WHAT: Rep Loebsack will attend the 2nd Ward community meeting to hear from residents about flooding issues. Rep Loebsack and Alderman Dunn will then go on a walking tour of the flood-protection measures in the Garden Addition neighborhood

WHERE: Meet at Roosevelt Community Center, 1220 Minnie Avenue (Corner of Concord & Minnie)

TIME: Dave will arrive at 10:30AM

 

DAVENPORT — Host U.S. Service Academy Day

WHO: Rep Loebsack

Representatives from: US Air Force Academy, US Coast Guard Academy, US Naval Academy, US Military Academy at West Point, US Merchant Marine Academy, University of Iowa Army ROTC, and the University of Iowa Air Force ROTC

WHAT: Rep Loebsack will host his annual US Service Academy Day to give students and parents an opportunity to learn about applying for and attending a military service academy

WHERE: Downtown Davenport Library, 321 N Main Street

Large meeting room located on the lower level. Enter through the main doors and someone will be there to show you the way

(Free parking is available on the street or in the lot attached to St Anthony Church at 4th St and Main St)

TIME: 1–3PM (Rep Loebsack will begin with remarks at 1, followed by Academy Representatives)

NOTE: In spite of the flooding, the library is open, and parking is available
