WASHINGTON DC (January 7, 2020) — Representative Dave Loebsack released the following statement today after the House gathered to begin the second session of the 116th Congress. Rep Loebsack continues to serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is a member of the Communications and Technology and Energy Subcommittees.

“I am honored to be able to continue serving as the voice of Iowa’s Second Congressional District. While there are items from last year that must still be addressed, I am optimistic for the opportunity the new year provides to build a better future for Iowans. During the next session, I will fight to expand broadband to all communities, create jobs here at home, boost the rural economy, ensure Iowans have access to a quality education at all levels, provide our veterans with the care they need, and protect, improve, and expand Social Security and Medicare.”
