BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 12, 2026) — Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2026, its Quad Cities location has relocated to Eastern Iowa Community Colleges — Scott Community College, located at 500 Belmont Road in Bettendorf, Iowa. Upper Iowa University will be housed in Room 1203 on the Scott campus.

This move strengthens Upper Iowa University's long-standing partnership with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges and reinforces a shared commitment to expanding seamless transfer opportunities and degree-completion pathways for students across the region.

By co-locating on Scott Community College's campus, Upper Iowa University creates greater access and visibility for students who are ready to take the next step in completing their Bachelor's degrees. Through established articulation agreements and transfer pathways, Upper Iowa University can accept up to 78 transfer credits from community-college partners, allowing students to maximize previously earned credits and reduce both time and cost to degree completion.

"Relocating to Scott Community College allows us to better meet students where they are," shared Jill Hansen, AVP Distance Education Recruitment.

"This partnership creates a clear, accessible pathway for students to transition from an Associate degree to a Bachelor's degree, while continuing to live, work, and learn in the Quad Cities."

Students transferring from Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will benefit from aligned advising, streamlined credit transfer, and flexible Bachelor's degree options designed for working adults and place-bound learners. The relocation reflects a shared focus on student success, workforce readiness, and increasing educational attainment across the region.
