ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 9, 2020) — The outdoor gardens will be in winter bloom with over 130,000 glowing lights. Showcasing our largest light display yet, new areas of our outdoor gardens will be lit, including the Children’s Garden. Explore the lawns, pond, and pocket gardens of our outdoor light exhibit.

Bundle up, stroll the gardens at night, and enjoy this completely outdoor exhibit.

All events have limited capacity and are subject to change based on state mandates governing public health. Masks are required while indoors and outdoors at the Botanical Center.

EXHIBIT DATES AND TIMES

4–9PM every night

First night for general admission is Friday, November 20. Exhibit ends January 10.

Open Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and the night of New Year’s Day. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

GENERAL ADMISSION

$8 Adults, $4 Youth 2-15, Under 2 Free

QC Botanical Center Members $2 off admission

Tickets must be purchased online for timed entrance every 30 minutes 4–8PM. Passes are not accepted during Winter Nights Winter Lights.

SPECIAL EVENTS

WINTER NIGHTS A’LIGHT PREVIEW PARTY

11/19 THURSDAY, 6–8PM

Join us to celebrate the opening of Winter Nights Winter Lights and be there for our first official lighting of the exhibit. Event includes outdoor Winter Nights Garden Stroll. Enjoy drinks at our cash bar. The entire event will take place outdoors in compliance with COVID-19 restrictions. RSVP required. $50 couple | $35 individuals

MEMBERS’ NIGHTS

11/20 FRIDAY and 11/21 SATURDAY, 4–9PM

Kids who are members receive a take home goodie bag. Free admission for members. General admission for non-members. Tickets required.

DATE NIGHTS

12/3, 12/17, 12/31 THURSDAY, 6–8PM or 7–9PM

Make it a special night with your sweetheart or your closest friends. Event includes outdoor Winter Nights Garden Stroll, a special date night exhibit guide and access to the cash bar.

Purchase a snack box packed for two, in advance, with your tickets. RSVP required.

PAINTING NIGHTS

12/9 and 12/30 WEDNESDAY, 7–9PM

Paint a seasonal scene in our indoor banquet room and take home your artwork. New topic each session. RSVP required. $25 adults

NEST CAFÉ SOUP NIGHTS

12/11 FRIDAY and 12/12 SATURDAY, 4PM while supplies last

Purchase soup to go from NEST Café, a local pay-what-you-can restaurant, opening spring 2021. Regular exhibit admission, tickets required.
