UNIVERSITY, MISSISSIPPI (April 24, 2023) — Elizabeth Howard, of Muscatine, Iowa, pursuing a BA in Mathematics, was honored in the 2022-23 class of Who's Who Among Students at the University of Mississippi.

Howard was in the company of 201 Ole Miss students who were recognized with the distinction during a ceremony on April 14 at the Gertrude C Ford Center for the Performing Arts.

RIPON, WISCONSIN (April 21, 2023) — Ripon College held its Spring 2023 Catalyst Day on Wednesday, April 19. Held each fall and spring, Catalyst Day is designed to showcase Ripon College's Catalyst curriculum and celebrate the achievements of the students who are completing the junior-level collaborative capstone. Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to watch teams of students present problem-solving projects that tackle worldwide issues.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (April 21, 2023) — Creative-arts organizations in Mercer County are invited to apply for grants from the Looser-Flake Charitable Foundation, a private foundation administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation. Up to $100,000 total will be available to organizations that participate in the collaborative grant-application process, which will be led by Mercer County Better Together (MCBT) between now and the July 14 deadline.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 21, 2023) — Riplak Entertainment and the Hilltop Drop present the first in a monthly concert series benefiting NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Greater Mississippi Valley and featuring Soultru and Friends. This first concert is Friday, April 28, at the Hilltop Drop, 1514 N Harrison St, Davenport. Doors open at 7PM for ages 21 and up. Cost is a freewill donation at the door.
