DES MOINES, IOWA (August 16, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds testified at a field hearing of the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, chaired by Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA). Gov Reynolds outlined Iowa’s efforts on workforce development through the Future Ready Iowa Initiative, and called for greater federal government flexibility in programs aimed at self-sufficiency.

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (August 16, 2019) — The Illinois Public Pension Fund Association (IPPFA) today praised the signing of the Illinois First-Responders Suicide Prevention Act, a new law the IPPFA drafted that will help fight the number-one cause of duty-related deaths in the state.
