Good morning. It’s good to be here. I want to especially thank the Director of the Autism Society of Iowa, Kris Steinmetz, for the very good work you do.

WASHINGTON DC (July 11, 2019) — Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, are expressing concern about the increased volume of methamphetamine being smuggled from Mexico into the United States. As the nation continues to grapple with an ongoing opioid epidemic, the Senators urged the Department of Homeland Security and Office of National Drug Control Policy not to ignore the surge in meth trafficking.

DES MOINES, IA (July 11, 2019) — Six Iowa farm families will be recognized as recipients of the 2019 Way We Live Award at the Iowa State Fair. Entry-form nominations included a description of how living on a farm and choosing the farming occupation shaped the nominee's farm family life.
