CLIVE, IOWA — A Davenport man has won a $100,000 lottery prize.

Steve Logsdon won the third top prize available in the Iowa Lottery’s “Dollar Sign” ($) scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at SC Mini Mart, 1511 W Locust St in Davenport, and claimed his prize on Monday at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office.

AMES, IOWA (June 4, 2019) — Iowa State University's largest-ever graduating class (5,248) received degrees during four spring commencement ceremonies May 9 and 11. Iowa State awarded 4,439 undergraduate degrees, 527 master's degrees, 132 doctor of philosophy degrees, and 150 veterinary medicine degrees.

UNIVERSITY, MISSISSIPPI (June 3, 2019) — Samantha Jo Irwin, of Moline, Illinois, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi on May 11, 2019 at the university's 166th Commencement.

Irwin was among more than 5,500 students who received degrees as December, May and August graduates.
