HB1482, sponsored by Representative Tony McCombie, adds protections to DCFS and Adult Protective Service employees from assault, the same protections applied to teachers, police/fire, and other emergency responders who protect those in harm’s way.

The governor's proclamation allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program for qualifying residents, along with the Disaster Case Management Program, for Greene County.

WASHINGTON DC (March 28, 2019) — The US Food and Drug Administration today approved Cimzia (certolizumab pegol) injections for treatment of adults with a certain type of inflammatory arthritis called non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA) with objective signs of inflammation. This is the first time that the FDA has approved a treatment for nr-axSpA.
