The President’s budget includes various proposals to confront a variety of policy issues, including runaway federal-spending, border-security and immigration-enforcement, national defense, the opioid epidemic, and health-care costs.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 14, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate applauds Governor Kim Reynolds for streamlining the process for felons seeking to have their voting-rights restored. This week, the Governor’s Office unveiled a new application that is simpler and easier to understand.

“The process of having your voting rights restored by the Governor is not complicated,” Sec Pate said. “I encourage felons who want to vote to look at the process and take the necessary steps.”
