We are now in our sixth week of the tax filing season. Over 50 million Americans have filed their tax returns.

As in previous weeks, the IRS is moving forward in the filing-season at a pace consistent with previous years. In some aspects, they are exceeding benchmarks set by the last filing-season.

This has been one of the most-scrutinized filing-seasons I can remember.

Associates are receiving their bonuses in paychecks received March 7. In Iowa, associates will be awarded close to $2.7 million for fourth quarter performance.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 7, 2019) — Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation affiliated with Firehouse Subs restaurants has awarded a $25,000 grant to the Davenport Fire Department (DFD) for three new thermal-imaging cameras.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 7, 2019) — More than 75 biodiesel supporters took to the Iowa State Capitol today to remind lawmakers just how well their comprehensive state policies on biodiesel have worked.
