WASHINGTON DC (February 28, 2019) — Representative Dave Loebsack today applauded the decision by Amtrak to award $3 million for safety and reliability upgrades to the Southwest Chief route. The Southwest Chief has daily routes from Illinois to California, which travels through southeast Iowa, including a stop in Ft Madison.

Since March 1, 1994, IDN has served as Iowa's sole organ procurement organization. During that time, 1,378 organ donors have given 4,630 organs for transplant. In 2000, IDN added to our services becoming the state's only tissue recovery agency.
