DES MOINES, IOWA (September 10, 2024) — Governor Kim Reynolds has left for an official trade mission to India. The delegation joining her includes Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Finance Authority Director Debi Durham, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig, and agricultural and business leaders from Iowa. The purpose of the mission is to work toward strengthening Iowa’s trade and investment relationships with one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 10, 2024) — This year we aim to raise enough funds to purchase the second Argrow’s residential home. This home will house women and children through the Argrow’s House Residential Program. The women will live rent-free in a safe and secure home for one year, during which time they will participate in free counseling, support groups, and financial literacy training, ultimately entering into a first-time home-owners program.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 9, 2024) — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced her appointment of Melinda Wicks and Matthew Schuling as district associate judges in Judicial Districts 3B and 4, respectively.

Wicks, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, serves as a magistrate in Woodbury County and as a deputy county attorney in the Dakota County Attorney’s Office, State of Nebraska. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and law degree from Washburn University of Law.
