The TaxSlayer Center's annual Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive this Thursday, Nov. 1st at approximately 11:00 a.m. The tree is being donated by John Abbott of Milan and is a dedication to his mother Helen Abbott who passed in 2012. A beloved Quad-Cities’ family tradition for more than ten years, the Polar Express Pajama Parties kick off Thursday, Dec. 13, with four action-packed days of holiday fun and the timeless holiday movie at the Putnam Museum & Science Center!

This year, the Putnam has scheduled 10 showings of 'The Polar Express 3D' — the visually stunning holiday classic, which will be brought to life on the GIANT Screen, towering six stories tall.

Every holiday season, Toys for Tots donation boxes fill each of Ascentra Credit Union’s branches from Muscatine, Iowa to the Quad Cities and up to Clinton, Iowa.  It is a tradition at the credit union that has led their staff to support the organization by raising additional funds through organizing a bake sale and donating $5 to dress Casual for a Cause, then using the proceeds to go on a toy shopping spree.
