STORM LAKE, IA (01/19/2018)-- Buena Vista University (BVU) Theatre's production of "Woman Wonder" has been selected to be performed at the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) 50 in Des Moines. BVU is the only university in Iowa to be invited to compete at the coveted competition.

Connor Essary, a business and Spanish double major from Davenport, is among the production's cast and crew members.

ROCK ISLAND, IL - The Quad Cities Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance) Committee announces a call for entries for the "Ida Kramer Children and the Holocaust Essay Contest" and the "Meyer and Frances Shnurman Holocaust Visual Arts Contest" which are open to all Quad City Area students in grades 7-12. Rose to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum.
