COLUMBIA, Missouri (August 29, 2017) - The following students from this area were recently named to the Columbia College dean's list for the Summer Semester (May-August 2017):  Erin Lowe from Port Byron, IL, Online Campus     To be named to the dean's list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0-point scale.

While camping pads with water and electrical hookups have already sold out, primitive campsites are still available.

HAMPTON, Ill. (Aug. 29, 2017) – A group of seven tipis will be on display at Illiniwek Forest Preserve Sept. 29 and 30 for a Tipi Gathering designed to provide a glimpse at life of the great plains Native American culture.

The free, educational event will feature music, storytelling, drum circles and dancing. The tipis will also be available for the public to tour.
