AccuWeather Global Weather Center - August 29, 2017  - AccuWeather reports some of the worst flooding from Harvey may be yet to come even as rain diminishes in the next 24 to 48 hours over parts of Texas and Louisiana.

"This is a devastating flooding event, the likes of which we have not seen in at least the last 12 years, since the Hurricane Katrina disaster," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Rossio said.

Des Moines, August 29, 2017— On Tuesday, September 19, the Iowa Supreme Court will hear oral arguments at the Des Moines Hoover High School auditorium, 4800 Aurora Avenue. The oral arguments are open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m.

The court will hear attorneys argue the case of State of Iowa v. Bion Blake Ingram, from Jasper County.
