(WASHINGTON, Sept. 6, 2017) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) today announced that the government of Vietnam has notified the U.S. that it will resume imports of American distillers dried grains (DDGS).  In December 2016, Vietnam suspended imports of U.S. DDGS after reported detections of quarantine pests in U.S. shipments.  Prior to the suspension, Vietnam was the third-largest market for U.S.

I’m pleased today to support the nomination of Tim Kelly to be a Judge on the D.C. District Court.

September 5, 2017 – GiGi’s Playhouse Quad Cities, the local Down Syndrome Achievement Center, will host their annual 5K Run, 1-mile Walk and Dash for Down syndrome at Veterans Memorial Park in Bettendorf, IA on Saturday October 7, 2017. Participants will enjoy entertainment, ice cream, inflatables, raffles and prizes. The 5K is a timed event with chipped bibs for competitive runners.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Organizations that submitted a Program Grant application for fiscal year 2017 and submitted the recently requested update, DO NOT NEED TO APPLY. The submitted update will be utilized as the fiscal year 2018 application.

Klim, a junior at UW-Whitewater, is majoring in Finance.
