DAVENPORT, IA – July 2017 –Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE workshop for anyone impacted by cancer titled Finding Reliable Cancer Resources on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Gilda’s Club (1234 East River Drive, Davenport, IA). In light of a cancer diagnosis, the Internet can be a scary place. Unless you know which reputable sites to navigate, browsing your favorite search engine may cause more harm than good when looking for cancer resources.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has published the Sunset 2017 final rule.  

Removals from the National List. This final rule removes the following three synthetic substances and five nonorganic agricultural substances from the National List for use in organic production and handling.

Students will learn the difference between a dinosaur and a flying or swimming reptile, how dinosaurs got their name and what they ate and finish with a discussion of fossils.
