Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote the provisions improving the incentives for whistleblowers to come forward about large dollar tax fraud. The provisions were enacted in 2006, ten years ago. Grassley continuously works to make sure the IRS is welcoming to whistleblowers. The law continues to have positive results, according to the IRS’ latest annual report on the whistleblower program.

AMES, Iowa (January 10, 2017) - At Iowa State University's fall commencement ceremonies held Dec. 17, 2016, 2,148 students received degrees. Iowa State awarded 1,769 undergraduate degrees, 258 master's degrees, one veterinary medicine degree and 120 doctor of philosophy degrees.

Dubuque, Iowa (January 10, 2017) - Loras College has announced the names of students who achieved Dean's List status for the 2016 fall semester. A student must earn a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to be recognized.
