Dear Friend,

As we approach the end of the year, we are also closing out the 114th Congress.  While there is a mountain of work that must still be addressed, I have been busy working across the aisle to overcome the Washington gridlock and advance legislation to benefit the people of Iowa.  A summary of some of those achievements are below.

December 28, 2016 - Ames, Iowa - Emoji keyboards and sticker packs for Iowa's universities launched in the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores today, making them available for free to fans globally.

Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University's apps will launch December 26, 2016.

The County had local tax revenue of $265,610,396 for the year ended June 30, 2016, which included $23,169,606 in tax credits from the state. The County forwarded $242,440,790 of the local tax revenue to the townships, school districts, cities and other taxing bodies in the County.
