CASI Hosts Bridal Garage Sale

Davenport, Iowa – The Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) Bridal Garage Sale is Sunday, April 23, from 11am to 2pm at CASI, 1035 West Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA 52806. Soon-to- be brides can shop the various vendor stations as well as the garage sale tables where past brides and vendors are selling their wares.

Discussion on Housing Issues in Davenport to be Held at the Davenport Library

The event will be held at the Fairmount Library (3000 Fairmount Street) beginning at 6:30pm. Join us as we discuss the current situation and ideas for how to address problems related to housing in Davenport.

COMMISSION FACILITIES OPEN GOOD FRIDAY, CLOSED SATURDAY

Saturday, April 15 with "Flight Adventures" showing at 11 a.m, 12 p.m
and 2 p.m.
 
The Discovery Dome is a portable, fully immersive planetarium that uses a 360-degree projector to show earth, space, and life science topics in an entertaining, scientifically accurate and educationally inspiring manner.

Live Healthy Iowa Partners With 19 Communities to Host 5K Events

AMES, IA (April 7, 2017) - Live Healthy Iowa will partner with 19 communities across Iowa for the 4th annual Live Healthy Iowa 5K events. The events, scheduled for Saturday, April 8, will be held in Bondurant, Britt, Carroll, Decorah, DeWitt, Dike, Fairfield, Grinnell, Hiawatha, Montrose, Onawa, Osage, Perry, Red Oak, Sibley, Sioux City, Spencer, Story City, and Waukee. The Live Healthy Iowa 5K is sponsored by the Iowa Hawkeyes.
