President Andrea Talentino nominated Rachel Nandelenga as this year's Lincoln Academy student laureate

Friendship Manor is now moving into their next era of excellence. In January, rounds of construction will begin to add amenities and refresh the campus, that has been serving seniors for forty-three years.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 28, 2023) — Hundreds joined Bishop Kennetha J Bigham-Tsai for an Advent Zoom study of Bishop Kenneth H Carter's book, Unrelenting Grace — A United Methodist Way of Life. Nearly 700 registered for the online devotional series, and at least 100 more joined in groups at churches and homes for the first session.

PELLA, IOWA (November 30, 2023) — NASA and the moon landings connected curious minds at Central College as 150 prospective students attended a Scholar Day in November. These events welcomed admitted students to campus to learn about the college and to earn additional academic scholarships, up to full tuition.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (November 29, 2023) — Monmouth College business and economics professor Michael Connell gave his first pint of blood when he was a high-school student in Flora, Illinois. For the years of his generosity that have followed, Connell recently received a special pin from the American Red Cross for donating a total of ten gallons, or eighty pints, of his A-positive blood.
