Augustana College Receives $6.7 Million From Illinois Board of Higher Education

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 24, 2024) — A $6.7 million Independent Colleges Capital Investment Grant from the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) is being used to renovate Augustana College’s Erickson Residence Center. A total of $400 million was awarded to 45 higher-education institutions in Illinois with an eye on building the state’s future workforce.

Local Students Among Knox College Students Named to Fall 2023 Dean's List

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) Announces Funding Opportunity for 2024 Summer Youth Internship Program Grants

Matt Gent Named New President of Iowa Pork Producers Association

He took over the role during the organization’s annual meeting in Des Moines on January 23. Gent and his family own a farrow-to-finish swine enterprise called Prairie Pork near Wellman. Jericha Stout of Cordova, Illinois, Earns Degree from University of Maryland Global Campus

ADELPHI, MARYLAND (January 23, 2024) — Jericha Stout of Cordova, earned a(n) Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Investigative Forensics from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2023.

Stout was one of more than 8,358 students worldwide who earned degrees from UMGC in the fall. Graduates came from all fifty states, three US territories, and 24 countries.

University of Iowa 2023 Fall Semester Dean's List Honorees Announced

Dean's List status was earned by 1,810 first year undergraduates during the 2023 fall semester at Iowa, 1,773 second year students, 1,940 third year students, and 2,458 fourth year students.
